Select Assembly > Tools from the menu bar. Select the required function.
This group of functions is used to perform various operations on assemblies and components.
The following functions are available in this group:
Create a new folder in the Assembly Tree. This folder can be used to group items together for sorting and control purposes. Any component (from the same assembly level as the created folder) can be placed in the folder. |
Create connections between components by defining constraints. |
Search for cyclic dependencies with the option of breaking them. |
Set the Distribution Layout to be used when the current assembly is added to another assembly. |
Display the ECO Tree which manages all ECOs. It displays information from all the ECO sub-assemblies that are under the main assembly, in a single tree. The ECO Tree provides access to all the Cimatron ECO Tools. These tools provide advanced and reliable analysis, implementation and documentation of an unlimited number of ECO changes at any stage of a job. |
Extract geometry to a separate file by defining a contour containing the required geometry. |
Regenerate all components that are in "Insert Mode". |
Convert Instances (parts that exist more than once in the assembly) into independent parts or into another group of instances. |
Move or rotate a component (if it has degrees of freedom). |
Add a project number to the main assembly and its children. |
