NC Menus: NC Edit Menu

Access: Open this group of functions from the following location:

Select NC Edit from the menu bar. Select the required function.

The NC Edit menu functions enable you to perform Procedure editing operations, such as copy, move, delete, edit parameters, and delete motions.

The following functions are available in the NC Edit menu:

The table below can be sorted; it has clickable headers that sort the table by the clicked column. The table is initially sorted by Function name.

Change Parameters	Multi Edit	View, Edit, and Update one or more parameters for certain procedures in a single operation in the Operation Manager.
Change Parameters	Change Comment	Change one or more comments for toolpaths/procedures in the Process Manager.
Change Parameters	Change Cutter	Change the cutter for selected procedure(s).
Change Parameters	Change Spark Gap	Change the Spark Gap parameter value for cutter motions.
Change Parameters	Clear "R" and "D" Symbols	Clear the R and D symbols in the Process Manager manually.
Change Parameters	Clear Relations	Clear all parameter relations in the active procedure.
Copy, Move & Delete	Copy Geometry	Copy the geometric data of a selected procedure. The geometric data copied are the parameters included the procedure's Geometry Parameters Table.
Copy, Move & Delete	Copy Procedure	Copy the selected toolpath/procedure.
Copy, Move & Delete	Cut Procedure	Cut the selected toolpath/procedure.
Delete Motions	Delete All Leading Rapid Motions	Delete all the leading rapid motions.
Delete Motions	Delete Holder Interfered Motions	Delete the holder prevent motions of selected procedures.
Delete Motions	Delete Motions	Delete the motions of selected procedures.
Copy, Move & Delete	Delete Procedure	Delete the selected toolpath/procedure.
Delete Motions	Delete Trailing Rapid Motions	Delete the trailing rapid motions.
Other	Divide Procedure by Cutter Change	A procedure containing multiple cutters can be divided by cutter into separate procedures, each of which uses only one cutter.
Change Parameters	Edit NC Setup Parameters	The NC Setup enables you to predefine multiple project-related options in a single place. The NC Setup contains the general data associated with a project, such as the part material, part geometry, machining orientations, fixtures, initial stock, machine name, and post processor. The data defined in the NC Setup is later used as the default for various NC operations. For example, the defined part material is used to set different machining parameters in the cutter definition. The NC Setup parameters can be edited as required.

Change Parameters	Edit Toolpath Parameters	Edit the toolpath parameters.
Preferred Look	Load Look	Load the Preferred Look of your NC parameter tables. This is your user-defined default as to which parameters are displayed (hide/show status) and their default parameter values.
Preferred Look	Load Look Only	Load the Preferred Look Only of your NC parameter tables. This is your user-defined default as to which parameters are displayed (hide/show status). This does not load their user-defined default parameter values -just which parameters are displayed.
Other	Multi Cutters by Tool Life	Divide a long single finishing procedure into multiple procedures with multiple cutters. The finishing procedure can be divided by cutting time or cutting length, improving surface quality and optimizing tool life.
Copy, Move & Delete	Paste Geometry	Paste the copied geometry to one or more selected procedures.
Copy, Move & Delete	Paste Geometry Special	Paste selected geometry items to one or more selected procedures.
Copy, Move & Delete	Paste Procedure	Paste the selected toolpath/procedure.
Delete Motions	Restore Original Motions	Cancel all the operations that were done on the toolpath (editing the motions) and restore the original motions.
Preferred Look	Save Look	Save the Preferred Look of your NC parameter tables. This is your user-defined default as to which parameters are displayed (hide/show status) and their default parameter values.
Copy, Move & Delete	Select all Procedures/TPs	Select all the toolpaths/procedures in the Process Manager.
Other	Update Criteria	Manually update all the criteria definitions inside NC procedures and also their outcome according to the current state of the geometrical model. This also assigns the proper flags to the procedures in the Process Manager dialog.

Change Parameters Tools	This group of functions is used to edit toolpath/procedure parameters.
Copy, Move & Delete Tools	This group of functions is used to copy, move and delete procedures.
Delete Motions Tools	This group of functions is used to delete/restore procedure motions.
Other Tools	This group of functions is used to perform various operations on procedures.
Preferred Look Tools	This group of functions is used to define the Preferred Look (user-defined defaults) of your NC parameter tables; which parameters are displayed and their default values.
